Do you know there are only four things people truly find valuable?
If we want to deliver value, we need to understand what people actually value.
Here they are:
1️⃣ Money — I’ll give you money if you can help me make or save money.
2️⃣ Time — I’ll give you money if you can help me save time or use it better.
3️⃣ Risk — I’ll pay if you can reduce my risk, in any form.
4️⃣ Status — I’ll pay if it helps me elevate my status in some way.
So when you position yourself, your product, or your service as “valuable,” make sure you’re clearly tied to at least one of these four. Ideally more.
Because if you’re not helping someone with money, time, risk, or status… you’re probably not as valuable as you think.
